February 29th - Juried Show
February 29th (Friday)10:00 – 2:00 register and place artworks for Juried Show. March 1st (Saturday) 10:00 Show is judged. 12:30 Show opens to the public, reception follows. The judge for our juried show is Dean Schneider. She lives in the Woodlands.

As a matter of Business: We will vote on 2 additions to our By-laws. Our demo artist is Tommy Humphrey. He will demonstrate acrylic on scratchboard and clayboard.

Oct 1st-17th - Mary Burkhalter will be hanging her work in the Texas Gallery from

July 26th at 10:00 - BVAL board meeting.

July 11th will be our next Paint Day at the studio.

June 30 - Member and student exhibition from 10:00-12 noon. Pick up paintings at 12:00

June 16 - Texas Red in downtown Bryan

June 29 - pick up paintings form gallery except for one 10:00-12:00

June 4 -29 Children's Art Class

One must have paid his or her dues to enter and the ‘Juried Art Show’ rules may be found in the Art League Member’s Book.

Board Meeting on July 6 at 10:00 AM

July 7th - August 31st
Third Annual Membership Art Show.

Each member may place up to three pieces of art in the Show each month. If you want to just leave your three pieces in the gallery for the whole two months you may do so. However, you may replace the art work on the first of August with three more.

Please bring your art to the gallery between 10:00 and 5:00 on Wednesday, July 5th. We will hang the exhibition on Thursday. Plan to pick up your art on August 31.

Remember this is NOT a juried show. Please place a price on your art. You will fill out an “Entry Label” for each piece that will be attached to the art. Also, you must fill out a “Terms of Entry and Release Form” and sign it. So please allow a few minutes time for this very important step. These forms will be provided at the exhibit.
